Nancy O’Halloran runs Brave Heart – Safety and First Aid Training service and as the name implies, Nancy has a huge heart that keeps on giving. She has devoted herself to providing quality, proactive, first aid care readiness.

Nancy was deeply honored to be selected as a finalist, along with an assemblage of amazing, business-women, for the 28th Annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards: Women of Influence. This national award is in recognition of women entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence in issues from economic growth to social change, from local to global reach, across multiple sectors. I was honored to be able to capture her portrait to be used as part of the application process the finalists had to go through.

Nancy maintains a steadfast belief in planning ahead and building confidence, knowledge and skills in all aspects of safety and in life in general. “Everyone needs and deserves to focus on being happy and feeling safe”. It is this philosophy that lends itself to her developing a unique business attitude. It is also what allowed her to create the largest, independent First Aid training and equipment provider in Nova Scotia. Nancy is truly an inspiration to those around her and other women who aspire to be in the medical field or simply start up their own business.

UPDATE:  Nancy has now been selected as 1 of 3 Finalists across Canada for the RBC CANADIAN WOMEN ENTREPRENEUR KNOWLEDGE HUB MICRO BUSINESS AWARD for the East!! ♥️
