Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Jaimie Corbin and Aaron Peerless of Phantom Effects Special Effects Makeup. Jaimie had put together a workshop teaching 6 lucky young ladies how to apply high impact make-up while assisting in a festival fashion design. Both Jaimie and Aaron are really passionate about their craft and it really shows in their work. When you look at the results below, you cannot tell the girls were really shy initially, but once in front of my camera and with some gentle encouragement to find their inner warrior, they really came out of their shell and gave us some amazing results. In trying to find that inner ‘something’ for them to draw upon, I asked one young lady, who inspired her the most? Her answer…. ‘My mom!’  I’m sure I wasn’t the only one with a tear in my eye 😉
